Abstract Background Micro-RNAs (miRNAs) have been reported as an emerging biomarker in many cancer types. They are used diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers could be considered therapeutic targets treating the same. Main body Studies proven that miRNAs play essential role molecular pathophysiology, including oral squamous cell carcinoma. Distinct expression profiles of different demonstrated Among miRNAs, miR-31 has strong potential a unique head neck carcinoma, increased was correlated to poor clinical outcome with likely contribution carcinogenesis.
